bored as fuck and just ranting

Jadakiss. I mean where do we begin. Such a talented rapper who just frankly never will blow. He reminds me of all those NBA greats who never won a ring. I know some of it isnt his fault(contract problems). But the two albums he did release werent really up to his standards. When he signed to rocafella i thought hmm maybe this may finally elevate him. But after that stale shit with ne-yo and the constant delays my hope faded. So finally after 4 months from the original release date and hardly any buzz here is the last kiss

1)Pain and Torture-Really grandious new york sounding shit. Havent heard somethin like this in a while. Pretty decent. Jada comes correct and gets this off to a good start. Lol his flow always sounds like he is constipated though.

2)Cant stop me Ft Ayana Irish-This shit go hard. Beat is nice and the sample is well used. You can tell this album isnt gonna be a punchline heavy which I think is what kills most of these NY rappers.I never understood why singers are used alongside samples but its still cool.

3)Whos real Ft Swizz Beats & OJ da juiceman- Really odd song to put on this album. Mixtape yea but album no. Beat sounds like a remix of swing ya rag but its decent. OJ just sounds weird along side jada and his verse is shorter then the chorus, which is lame and repetitive. Will get play in the club tho.

4)Grind Hard Ft Mary J Blige- Another weird collabo. They shoulda used Mary on sum soulful shit not this. Beat sounds like Nas's hero and woulda been better for rick ross. But other then that is alright lol.

5)Somethin else Ft Young Jeezy- Beat is pretty decent. Jeezy's verse is really good which may suprise a lot. Chorus is annoying and wack but other then that good song.

6)One more step Ft Styles P- The expected back and forth with styles. Not as good as we gone make it or that shit off styles first album but still good(Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri take note this is how you do it lol) Beat is crazy to me also

7)Sress ya Ft Pharrell- Definetly not Pharrell's best beat. Very lazy and snoozeworthy. And what is that annoying random ass sample in the background? Jada has never been good at the girl songs. Skip

8)What If Ft Nas- or AKA Why pt 2 lol. Still good tho cuz who is releasing shit like this right now. Plz it is thought provoking shit(what if peyton was fighting dogs? What if Oprah called those girls nappy headed hoes instead of of Imus? i also like the homage to nas by asking what if you can sneak an uzi on the island?)

9)Things Ive been through-Man this track is fire. The vandross sample is used greatly and the beat is smooth smoking music. I mean who doesnt like Luther, esp when he was fat? Jada gets really personal on this one as he basically gives his music biography.This is very interesting and daring cuz most artist wont talk about half this shit even though its probably happened to them. Good track

10)I tried Ft Avery Storm- Another deep track about struggles and hardship. The beat is hot. Its nice to hear a rapper from New York who actually rap and has beats that sound like where he is from(unlike Fat Joe, Jim Jones, etc). Avery Storm sounds like absolute shit tho.

11)Rockin with the best-Another blah neptunes track. I guess you can add pharrell to the producers who dont give a fuck anymore club(Timbaland's the prez, Just blaze vice prez) Man the chorus is just irritating to listen too. Skip.

12)Smoking Gun Ft Jazmine Sullivan- Really cheesy sounding beat. I still think jazmine sullivan isnt a great singer. Jada talks a bout sum deep shit on here about molestation and abuse. Definetly check this out for the lyrics and subject matter.

13)Cartel gathering Ft Ghostface Killah & Raekwon- Nice group shit. Ghostface is a fuckin fool(dont drink the cris, ghost bout to piss in it lol) Raekwon spits his same verse he been sayin since ob4cl, which is still good. And jada verse is decent.

14)Come and get me Ft sheek louch & S.I-I never really liked sheek, and his verse on here is just forgetable. Beat is really dark and gangsta. The chorus by this S.I dude is bad tho. Skip

15)By my side Ft Ne-yo- The fisrt single that sucks obviously. Man jada's rhymes are so wack and forced its sad to listen to. and Ne-Yo is as boring as ever. I think i heard jada actually singin with Ne-yo on the bridge. Awful

16)Letter to B.I.G Ft Faith Evans- Best song on here imo. This is how you do a tribute song(not silly ass collabo albums and other goofy shit that Diddy was doin. Jada even mentions that shit in here too). I dont know if its because i was blowed outta my skull when i first heard it but I think this is a all time classic. Lyrics, the beat, Faith's singing all go perfect.

17)Something Else Remix Ft Young Jeezy, Bloodraw, and some other ppl i dont feel like naming lol- Ok the original was ok but do we need a remix? Especially with some of Jeezys wack ass artist. Basically the exact same song but with more ppl on it. Skip

18)Deathwish Ft Lil Wayne- Wayne fulfills his contractual duties to appear on everybodies album lol. Really sinister ass beat that matches perfectly with the subject matter. Waynes verse is fuckin crazy and is lightyears ahead of Jada's. Im surprised Jada didnt go back in the studio on sum nas shit and add a verse after waynes.

Verdict-Pretty enjoyable album. Five or six songs shoulda been left off and the guests shoulda been cut down but its very listenable. This def isnt gonna win over any new fans and it will prolly be forgotten when the major albums come out in the next couple of months. You can tell that there was a debate over whether to include radio songs or songs for his fans on this album. But for now its satisfactory esp during this slow ass period for music. Check it out
